- All Web server-browser communications, including both the accessing of application pages and data and the submission of customer information, are 100% Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)/HTTPS based.
- The system employs Microsoft Internet Information Server as its sole Web server which strictly enforces use of 128-bit encryption enabled Web browsers.
- The Web server is hosted within a Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) protected by the latest firewall technology.
- Data access is strictly enforced by customer institution and by user according to explicit permissions maintained by the system. Within a customer organization, the designated administrative user controls the data access and administrative permissions of all other users.
- SS&C offers a variety of secure data delivery technologies for use by data vendors, including SFTP, NDM, and FTP/SMTP protected by PGP encryption.
